I have a colleague in organic chemistry who does virtually every new test reaction in sealed tubes under sonication conditions. Sonication is very very more best than reflux, because:
1- It is performed at room temp.
2- Reduce reaction times ( instead of hours , needs minutes).
3- Increase yield% ( some times reach's to more than 90%).
4- minimize decomposition.
Best for organic synthesis depends upon the type of the reaction. Room temperature reactions sonication is Eco-friendly, better approach. However, if reaction requires high temperature then relaxation will be preferred.

Respected sir,
I synthesized one compound using sonication method and got the good results, but same compound I try to synthesized using reflux method but I don't get the results. I don't now why it's happen.
Sonication is a greener method than reflux method. Sonication offers an energy efficient as well as a rapid high yielding strategy for synthesis of fine chemicals. Therefore undoubtedly sonication is better than reflux method.
