I'm conduzing a study about journalists/designers/programmers perceptions about readers when they create a visualization/infographic in online websites. My hypothesis is that the innovative character of visualization/infographic is directly related to the perception of the professionals about the reader (when they think their readers are more able to understand the grammar of the visualization, they are those that bet more on innovative visualizations); and other hypothesis: that different professionals (journalists, designers and programmers) have different perceptions. That is, I must work with three groups of professionals.
I thought about preparing a Likert-scale questionnaire to measure this perception (e.g. "The reader is able to interact with interactive multimedia", strongly agree=1 to strongly disagree=5).
I also think that this perception should vary according to the position held and university education.
My question is what is the best method to measure the results of the questionnaire?
