The denser the better. I'm not interested in a solid foam, a foam like a shaving foam would probably be a suitable but any kind of foaming agents will be great.
Does the other component have to be air? Water would give you a very dense foam.
No, I can use any kind of inert gas. However water is not part of my system only the petroleum ether serve as the medium. With water I can make great foams, its with the petroleum ether I cant do that.....maybe if anyone knows of something that works with ethanol that might work too
There are foaming systems for ethanol, which are used in hand sanitizers, and also for hydrocarbons, which are used in fracking.
