In my thesis, I will study the leader behavior's or leadership styles effect on job satisfaction. I am intend to use single factor job satisfaction scale such as Michigan scale, Abridged job in general or global job satisfaction scale. I am curious about which leadership scales work well such single factor job satisfaction scales? If anyone have such experience about this topic, could you please give me some advice?

I would say and according to my knowledge that transformational leadership is the most suitable in workplaces nowadays, I will add the use of the organisational best practice concept as part of this leadership, which is based on continuous improvement to reach long-term sustainability which is key to successful organisation strategies. Studies have found transformational leadership is the most powerful leadership style for boosting employee well-being. Leaders who use this style seek to intellectually stimulate, support and grow each member of their team on an individual basis. however we should state the followings:
Well-being benefits:
- Empowers team members and builds trust and purpose.
- Encourages personal growth, which enhances employee engagement and job satisfaction.
- Able to inspire positive change within their teams, leading to greater motivation and performance.
Well-being risks:
- If a leader’s vision is unreasonable or high demand, it can lead to burnout.
- Requires constant communication—if staff don’t receive this they’ll lose interest.
- Because the leader focuses on growing their teams individual by individual, some team members may get more focus than others, which may appear as favouritism.
- Hence, as mentioned previously there is a need to blend transformational leadership with organisational best practice to eliminate the negatives and increase the positives.
