Of course. I would like to find out which language tasks are used during intraoperative electrical stimulation of the brain in different neurosurgery centers. An object naming tasks seems to be a common denominator but some centers have added other language tests, such as, e.g., verb generation. I would like to learn which centers use which language tasks. Thank you.
The most comprehensive awake language mapping studies I am aware of are performed at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA, USA. This was due to the extensive work of emeritus professor George Ojemann, MD. If you interested in both the history and nuance of those tests, I recommend that you contact the neurosurgery department there. Good Luck!
I am familiar with prof. Ojemanns most impressive contributions.
I would like to find out which language tests are currently used by which leading neurosurgery centers in the world. I will probably end up contacting them, as you suggested.
