Hallo everybody,

I have found a general procedure in the assembly of dye-sensitized solar cells is to deposit a thin film of TiO2 by submerging the substrate in a 40 mM aqueous TiCl4 solution. The method of preparing aqueous solution is already discussed in this forum. However, while buying the TiCl4 solution, I have found that it is available with three different base solution, (1) methylene chloride, (2) toluene and (3) HCl from sigma company. Which one should I use to prepare the aqueous solution? I have tried to find in literature but can't find any information on it. Can anyone please help!

With regards,

Debasree
