I am writing a paper on it, I believe employers/organizations are responsible for providing a safe workplace for all employees.  Violence within the organization has been tolerated for far too long, and employers have been ineffective in addressing it, largely because they fail to recognize education alone does not change abusers, especially narcissistic. incidents go unreported because of fear of retribution, and not feeling supported by the employer.  This affects patient care and is very costly to individuals and the whole system.
