I was wondering if our immunological system possessed any kind of immunological defense to prevent lung cancer and how it deferred (if any) from any other kind of immunological reaction.

It is not enough to consider the immune mechanisms. As with most diseases, the development of cancer is multifactorial. Whether or not a given person ends up developing the disease depends on how all those factors interact. Many factors may still need to be evaluated in order to fully understand how to avoid a certain disease outcome.
