Good morning everyone,
I am currently trying to analyse my blots using the Gels tool in ImageJ software.
In the attachment provided, there are three outputs of the same membrane after selecting the bands (each peak represents a single band on the same membrane).
Before measuring the area under the curve of the peaks (amount of signal emitted from each band), the peaks need to be first isolated from using the line function.
My question is whether approach 1, 2 or 3 is the most accurate in isolating these peaks for further analysis, as there is quite a large difference in how the final results look based on which of the 3 ways I choose.
I appreciate any views!
