Some key steps to avoid contamination or bacterial overgrowth of soybean hairy root system

- Carefully wash your samples 2-3 times using sterile water plus 300-500mg/l cefotaxime

- Dry the samples by sterilized filter papers

- Culture your the samples on medium added 300 mg/l cefotaxime, 50-100 mg/l timentin

- Do sub-culture every 2-3 weeks

I have performed in vitro soybean hairy root transformation many times with very less contamination
