1) No where in the previous comment it is said that a person is stupid, its the question which was asked without thinking. Stop behaving like a child and respect your title of assistant professor and don't make fun out of it. Remember, you are talking to a scientific community, if you are refuting on me, your act is noticed and evaluated by people. It on you how you want to make your reputation.

2) Any question asked need to have some context and background behind it. Ok, your question is an excellent question, but did you get the background information about the heat tolerance or global warming ?

Global warming is the rise in the mean temperature of earth which causes the climate change. The mean temperature of earth is around 14 degree Celsius. And climate change is the change is the prevailing climatic conditions. That does not only cause the hot summers, that can also cause heavy rain, cold winters, heavy snowfall.

And when we talk about the heat tolerance/adaptability, the anomalous temperature which alters the normal physiological state of an organism, several protein buffers the temperature and acts like a cushion to the organelle in the cells, such protein are called heat shock protein in general. These protein might give a heat tolerance property.

Thus there is not a logical connection between the global warming and heat tolerance on a broad perspective. Ask something particular, for example, what can be done to increase the heat tolerance in the cultivable crop for the arid regions. Again, there are a whole lot of literature available which describes the ongoing breeding work. It just require to read and understand. Genomics is not a magic ward which can fix anything. Genomics is useless in practical sense without any understand of proteomics, transcriptomics, metabolomics and any omics.

Certainly-research is a continuous process-therefore new ideas are most imprtant for effective research.
