Whether uterine adhesion in goats cause dystocia ?

Sufficient degree of myometrial contractions is required to initiate the physiological mechanism of parturition like dilatation of cervix and propulsion of fetus. if the uterus is adhered to the abdominal wall it will cause dystocia.

Utero-peritoneal adhesion was responsible for the retained fetus because of reduced or absent myometrial contractions.
