Hi, now I use 4-hydroxytamoxifen (4-OHT, Sigma) to induce Cre-recombinase activities in mice. I usually dissolve 4-OHT to absolute ethanol in the original vial, but it is often difficult to fully take this solution away from the vial. Is there anyone who at first take 4-OHT outside of the original vial and then dissolve for example in the eppendorf tube? Or is there any other way to efficiently prepare 4-OHT solution?
