I am wondering if there are any case studies used for delivering and assessing students understanding of agile project management Scrum framework. Please feel free to share some of your agile PM teaching cases (any industrial field) and/or how you assess students understanding of Scrum framework.

Scrum is not for project management. This is product (originally software) development framework. So you can use it for product development as a part of project, not for managing the whole project.

1. Introducing Agile Methods in Undergraduate Curricula, a Systematic Mapping Study.
2. Scrum: An Agile Process Reengineering in Software Engineering.
Search Springer and ScienceDirect libraries for more papers.
It would be better u formulate a team in the class. Assign roles like developer and QA team, u become a scrum master prepare a DOR/DOD list. Work on small projects using Jira tool. It would be easy for students to understand. It completely becomes a case study.
