Contiki-OS operating system is fairly updated and implements RPL over IPv6 multi-hop routing protocol. You can configure the metrics you desire at compilation time using makefile. Take a look at the metrics available in the #defines here in the file

to observe the ones you want to use.

The default objectif fonction used in contiki is mrhof which supports two metrics ( energy and ETX ).

there is also objectif function zero wich support hopcount.

I have read articles wich implemented other single metric like Delay, RSSI, Latency, Link Quality Level

or combined for instance based on fuzzy logical

but i didn't find their source code online.

In fact, RPL in Contiki comes with only the metrics you mentioned. I wasn't able to find a complete implementation of the other ones.

Besides this fact, Contiki provide support to add your own implemented metrics. I found this nice tutorial explaining how to do that http://blog.csdn.net/frank_jb/article/details/50912306

RPL is designed with consideration to the practical support

and implementation of IPv6 architecture on devices which may operate

under severe resource constraints, including but not limited to

memory, processing power, energy, and communication. The RPL design

does not presume high quality reliable links, and should be able to

operate over lossy links (usually low bandwidth with low packet

delivery success rate).

I want to study the RPL behavior using a combinason of routing metric. Regarding to the number of lost packet of mobile node, i want to minimize the number of this parameter (Lost Packet Rate) and maximize PDR (Packet Delivery Ratio) but i don't know if i can concidered its as routing metric ? otherwise how can i calculate PLR and PDR?
