Are there public knowledge bases linking knowledge/learning topics together which can be used for automatic generation of Instructional Design structures?
The question of linking LO for Instructional Design had been investigated a decade ago (see http://scholar.google.co.th/scholar?q=linking+%22learning+objects%22+%22instructional+design%22&btnG=&hl=en&as_sdt=0%2C5&as_vis=1, where most results are from around 2000 to 2004).
Moreover, you might want to check out blogs and wikis recommending/reviewing LO repositories (e.g. http://edutechwiki.unige.ch/en/Learning_objects_repositories).
I may be misunderstanding the question, Ulrich, because my first thought is that the structure of any learning object should be based on the same analyses (task, learner, environments) we would conduct for any other instructional/training need.
Does this list of LO repositories address your question?
What I'm looking for is a Knowledge Graph such that, if I need A in order to learn B (pre-requisite) there is a link A -> B. It should be an acyclic directed graph with a unique starting point, {} (complete ingnorance).
