The question is weird. ANCOVA is a GLM. And what does this have to do with mixed models?

I wonder if Christina used OLS/GLM repeated measures ANCOVA, but was advised by a supervisor or reviewer that she ought to use a multilevel model approach instead. If so, perhaps one of the following UCLA web-pages will help her understand the features & relative merits of the various approaches.
