Kendall's Rank Correlation coefficient (Tau) is a measure of relationships between columns of ranked data, while Kendall's coefficient of concordance (W) is used for assessing agreement among rankers? Are they not both trying to assess the unanimity of responses (ranks).

A bit confused on both of their distinctiveness on usage and requirement. When to use what? Can someone please help me understand. That would be very helpful.
