I want to compared two dose response curve, both had the same drug treatments but one curve is using high concentration glucose media and the other is using low concentration glucose mediua. Does my t-test need to be paired or unpaired?
Dear @Lucy If you have two different samples for high concentration glucose media and low concentration glucose media and you look to compare the dose response curve between the two, then unpaired t-test would be appropriate.
Unpaired T-Tests, also known as independent T-Tests or student’s T-Test, are determining the two means groups of different/unrelated subjects. Homogeneity of variances. Under Paired T-Test the variance of the two mean groups are not equal. Under Unpaired T-Test the variance of the two mean groups is equal. Effects/impacts.
