Country specific populations are in the process of stabilization. Assuming that some decades ahead world population may reach stabilization levels, what will be the social and economic effects of this stabilization on the global economy, especially, with respect to growth process, distribution, and poverty removal?
Dear Mohammad, it’s an interesting question, to answer it I assume you are referring to the major 15 world economies in a 25 years period. In my opinion absolute poverty will decrease, international migration will stabilize (migration rates will decrease) but in terms of growth it could have an ambiguous impact. On the one hand GDP per capita will increase and on the other total GDP rates will turn recessives. This could lead to a stabilization of actual trade levels.
