Hi Mohamed, why do you need to dry your protein precipitate? If your proteins are happy as precipitates, then why bother them?
If you have to dry them without a freeze drier and if your proteins are stable, you can wash the precipitates with acetone or methanol and air dry the residue.
As Steingrimur mentioned, you do not need a freeze drier. if you have a vacuum drier it is not bad idea to dry the pellet with that. Other wise you can air dry the pellet under the hood.
If you have a protein in aqueous solution, you can dry it on a rotary vacuum evaporator. But keep the temperature low enough, e.g. below 35 oC to avoid denaturation. If you have a good vacuum, everything will be OK. You can use not only water pump (which usually provides 10-12 mm Hg vacuum), but also an oil pump which can give you e.g. 0.1-0.5 mm - but in this case you should care to avoid water in the pump.
