Simple question - I'm looking for recommendations for antibodies for RFP/mCherry immunoprecipitation. Thus far we've tried allele RFP nanobodies and not had much success. Do you have a go-to antibody?

I previously asked a similar question here, about detection of mCherry from plant extracts. Sung Un Huh advised me to use an Abcam anti-mCherry antibody (ab167453). This indeed works very well in our hands in Western Blotting, while we had poor results with several other antibodies before. Although I have obviously not tried, I bet that this AB will also work fine for pulling down mCherry. It does not exist coupled to beads, though. You did not specify whether you are actually working with mCherry or RFP. I am not aware of an antibody working fine for both, actually.
