I'm trying to get the FoldX 4.0 plugin working in Yasara View (the latest version, 21.6.2) on Windows 10. I've extracted all associated files, including foldx.exe and rotabase.txt into Yasara's plg folder. I have Python 2.7 installed, and have adjusted security permissions such that Yasara has full control to write in its own directory. I've followed the steps in the FoldX manual to configure the plugin in Yasara.
However, whenever I try to use any FoldX functions in Yasara, I immediately get an error message that reads "Cannot read FoldX output. Make sure you have set the correct FoldX file locations in Analyze > FoldX > Configure Plugin."
I know others have asked this same question many times, but the suggested fixes I've seen have all been things I've implemented, like installing Python 2.7 and changing security permissions, and I'm not sure what to do next!
Any help with getting this to work would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
Samee - I read over that answer when I was first trying to solve this issue, and I did try completely uninstalling and re-installing Python from within YASARA. I'm still getting the error message, unfortunately. The error I am experiencing is also different from the previous question asker's problem from the sounds of it - the FoldX plugin is visible in the Yasara menu for me.
I deleted FoldX 4 and tried downloading and installing FoldX 5 according to those instructions, and I am still having the same problem.
