It's written on the bottle" to store under inert gas, in a cool place " which inert gas and the specific temperature you mean?
we open it for the first time on 20/11/2020 but leave it tightly closed at room temperature is this okay, should I do something about it?
Hi Yasmeen Abdelghany, molecular biology grade Tween 20 is prone to oxidation therefore it must be ensured that it doesn't come in contact with air. Best and easiest way to protect is to use Parafilm after tightly closing the lid and cap. Storing it at room temperature is fine if the ambient temperature is below 25 degC or you can keep it in a refrigerator. During the usage, it shouldn't be left open unnecessarily.
