I have been looking all over the internet and everyone recommends to centrifuge for atleast 5 minutes, however my current time limit is 1 minute.

I have been centrifuging for 2 minutes at 4000x g. This ofcourse doesnt give clear plasma, but thats okay. All I need to know is the intra operative value of PTH.

The tube I use is a 5 mL EDTA/Gel tube.

The Idea is that we recieve blood during an operation and give the PTH value within 20 minutes, we think we can reduce the time of centrifugation by 1 minute and I was wondering if anyone had any experience centrifuging blood for only a minute.
