I'm asking myself and you, for the effects of Covid-19 on publication, reviewing process, and reclassification of priorioties on certain topics; e.g: and with high probability, the first topic will be all reserches treated this virus and relatid subjects...)

As Covid-19 is a priority nowadays, all research related will be expedited. Therefore, other research topics might be delayed.
I think now is a good time to write articles and send these to journals ...
I think we have to use the time in writing and reviewing. Currently, many of scientsts stay at home and the laboratory load is reduced. This may be a good chance to finish the delayed office works
Unless you work on Covid-19 the effect will be pretty negative. First of all, the review process will get delayed and second, journals boards will make space preferentially for this hot topic. So even if your manuscript get accepted, you will wait to get it published (this is not that harmful as you already get published online). Just check journals dealing with pathogenesis and infection, they have accepted Covid-19 articles in pipeline till June or July....Just to illustrate, we got a manuscript in review since October 2019, since February 11 it got status "Awaiting final decision", nothing happened since then, nobody communicates, so we have to be patient I guess.
Nowadays, editors and publishers have realised that time is the most powerful.
The rapidity of review and publishing articles should be maintained especially for the articles affecting patient care worldwide.
