I would like to know what would be the range of cohesive strength of powder sinter processing based composite material. For example, I am looking some bench mark value of cohesive strength for material combination of Chromium (Cr)with alumina(Al2O3). I was looking into literature, where I did not find any useful information about this cohesive properties of powder form of composite interfacial properties.

This field is so vast and in continuous growing, thus I don't think that has been establish a general criteria or bench mark in order to characterized the performance of all powder combination and application.
So, depending on application, for each product (material or component) standard requirement has been (or will be) establish in order to asses the quality / properties of material obtain based on powder sinter processing (including cohesive strength).

Thank you so much for your feed back. In fact I have found cohesive strength of this combination of composite material around 2.5MPa for the case plane stress and plane strain case and in the 3D model which comes around 400MPa. With this discrepancy, I am not able to make proper conclusion. If possible could you please suggest me on this issue.

For 3D model 400MPa seem to be a good result (taking intro account the tensile strength of the based materials), but this results should be validated by real experiments.
On the other hand, I think some error is induce in case of plane strain / stress ...
Those cohesive results I was fixing on the basis of matching numerical peak with experimental peak based on trial and error.
