I have done XRD analysis for milled powder and sintered samples. For calculating crystal size I have used Williamson Hall method. But I observed that there is increase in crystal size for sintered samples compared to that of milled powder. Whether it is correct or not ? Please clarify my doubt with any good reference journal paper.
you have to check the Sherrer formula for crystallite size. For sintered samples peaks in XRD pattern becomes sharp. Thats why CS increases.
Yes. Absolutely correct. As the temperature increases, a material transforms from disordered state to ordered state i .e. crystallinity increases. It is common phenomenon. You can read Hume-Rothery theory for phase transformation.
