What will be the product of the reaction between cinnamaldehyde and TBA?

I worked to measure MDA through TBARS method. But after mixing all reagents, solution becomes turbid yellow and therefore I am facing the problem to measure MDA. Is there any effect on absorbance of reaction mixture?

Yes, first of all turbidity increases the absorbance. Secondly the final product in the procedure should be a red pigment ,you can extract the color by using a solvent , usually, N-butanol, You must centrifuge the the last supernatant at 5000 rpm for 15 mints, to get a clear solution. You can go through the reference: Manceit LH and Copeland JG, 1992.
