Please consider:

Rising sea level will reduce crop land.

Increasing salinity problem.

Increasing population pressure.

More cyclone.

Changed seasonal pattern.

More pest pressure.

Short winter.

There are lot of adaptation technologies for coastal regions, but few of them are effective considering the issues you mentioned. For instance, introduction of saline prone high yielding crop variety, floating garden, agro-forestry etc.
