I'm doing work on a new home made PCR for diagnostic use (large spectre detections for eubacteria, mycobacteria, identifications & resistances genes) I need to optimize the time and cycle to pass from 2:45 hour PCR to a new 1 hour PCR.
Does anyone has any knowledge of mix and primer composition that could help me improve my reaction? (i will try 3 or 4 (Applied biosystems, Roche) of them but I could use some guidances).

you can try TaqMan® Fast Advanced Master Mix (Applied biosystems). We use it for diagnosis of mycobacteria; it's good and presents the advantage to reduce some inhibition in samples.

Does this mix works also for standard PCR ? Because that's what I am trying to achieve and all the informations I found for this Kit is on qPCR.
