Hello,

I have been seeing a buffer peak that also appear in a sample peak. Ideally, it should not.

So a particle is forming, and I see that in the sample peak, similar to what I see in the buffer peak. When I filter the buffer, I don't see that additional peak, but when I don't filter the buffer, I do see additional peak that appears in the similar nm range in the sample peak. So, the buffer isn't stable or some aggregate is forming in the buffer? This isn't a small peak, it's larger than 50nm.

Have you ever seen this type of particle forming?

What is your recommendation on measuring formulation buffer/solvent in DLS? Do we filter them & then measure? I have been filtering them and measuring.

I would appreciate if you have any suggestions or thoughts about this.

Thank you
