I did my undergraduate degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering and post graduate degree in Nanotechnology (multi-disciplinary course). I m doing my PG project in the field of Nanoelectronic devices.. What shall I do next? Where shall I get or seek a Job? Or is it better to do doctorate?
Doctorate ;-) while you are also practicing by... working in the area of interest.
You can do a doctorate in THE ECONOMY OF NANOTECHNOLOGY APPLICATIONS IN ELECTRONICS / IT... NETWORKS, MEDICAL DEVICES.... SO The economic and Ecological aspects ;-). That will make you more...."complete".

I think you should complete your PG project first and then aplly in some BIOTECH companies bcoz in d future era there will be al lot of demand of NANO-TECHNOLOGISTS in biotech companies due to its innovative characterisitcs...

i think that you should do doctorate because its my opinion i also interested in doctorate after doind GRE.
If you really aren't sure what you want to do, you should consider finding a job in the field you think may be of interest. This way you can figure out if this field is or type of work is a long-term goal for your career. You can always go back and get your doctorate. (Or work towards your doctorate while still employed.) To be honest, having some time between undergraduate and graduate work was useful for me. It gives you an edge in terms of understanding expectations, work ethic, etc., in graduate school that many students (fresh out of undergrad) lack.
That being said, if you are passionate about this field and know that this is where you want to be, then you should go for it. The bigger question is to ask yourself what you want to do with your doctorate (and do you really need it to get where you want to go).
