T. equi, primers targeting the 18S rRNA had the sequence 5'-TCGAAGACGATCAGATACCGTCG-3' and the reverse primer Equi-R had the sequence 5'-TGCCTTAAACTTCCTTGCGAT-3', yielding a 392 bp product may be it is useful.best regard
The primers suggested by Dr. Nabeel above are fine.
However, they will provide these yields:
Theileria equi : 435 bp
Theileria luwenshuni : 444 bp
Theileria orientalis : 444 bp
Theileria velifera : 444 bp
Babesia sp. : 442 bp
Sarcocystis sp. : 432-442 bp
Toxoplasma gondii : 432 bp
Zymoseptoria tritici : 1986 bp
So, you could use them for the already isolated Th. equi but not for clinical samples due to close average bands of PCR products among the different parasites.
Furthermore, you need to use 2% gel and a ladder that could differentiate easily the 100-600 bp.
