I plan to induce MDSCs from immature myeloid cell but not sure about the surface markers to identify immature myeloid cell. Or it is better to use CD34+ cells? Thanks so much for help!
TdT, CD34 & CD117 are three markers which are believed to be expressed on the myeloid stem cells and very early myeloid progenitors while they disappear from the late mature and terminally differentiated cells.
The percentage of CD34+ cells in PBMC is normally low. If I sort the CD34+ cells from PBMCs as a source for inducing MDSCs, do I have to expanse it before cytokine stimulation? Thanks so much for your answers.
Immature cells can be identified by CD 34, HLA DR and Tdt. Immature myeloid cells (blasts) will express mpo, CD 13, CD 33, CD 117. And monocytic precursor blasts will express CD 14, CD 64
