Meta-analysis is a part of statistics that pools different studies/sample to obtain more powerful results. Your question is not well posed. Maybe, clustering helps you to some extent.

I agree with Babak about Meta-analysis, it is one of the statistical methods which pools different data sets and provide a robust results. I think it depends on the objectives of the study. Not sure about your objectives.
