I think you can use simple data processing techniques in MS-Excel. Surely you can draw up a sheet of your subjects taught as columns (Independent variables) and rows containing marks obtained by each student (dependent variable). A simple average score comparison using the mathematical tools available in Excel can give you a deep insight.

This is much simpler than training ML models. Let me know!

You can use Between-subject ANOVA, but you need to be clear about the variables. In your case, you have one dependent variable (Students' scores) and one independent variable (Subject type - French, math, and Science).
