Hi,
Im doing an experiment for my dissertation in which i am experimentally manipulating written vignettes of bullying scenarios and then measuring how bystanders respond. There are 4 written vignettes so i have four groups. For me to compare four groups i know i will need to do a type of ANOVA. In the questionnaire bystanders can either have a "active constructive" response helping the victim or "passive destructive" in which they fail to do anything. My question is, is this an ANOVA as bystander response is essentially one variable or would it be a MANOVA as there are two type of response, "active constructive" and "active destructive".
I am also measuring two potential moderators in which I think i will be using PROCESS on SPSS, so would this make it a ANCOVA/MANCOVA as i will be controlling for these when measuring the main relationships?
Any help or advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks !
