If you have fungal contamination you will need to get rid of the spores in it. Realistically, the best thing you can do is clean the whole thing very well. Sterilize the whole thing with bleach and clean all the areas well. It might be best to spray bleach and let it sit as well. Obviously, bleach is not great for human health, so be careful.

If it was a contaminant you have to wash it first with water and soap and then wash it with Alcohol or what ever you used for sterilization in you Lab

You can spray with 10% bleach, leave it for a while, then wipe it off. After that clean with 70% alcohol.
