I am looking for a minimalist reporter construct (fluorescent protein) with a constitutive expression promoter for use in mammalian cells. I am after a reduce sequence of the traditional promoters (CMV, EF ...) something without stuffer sequences. The shorter the sequence, the better. Any thoughts?
you can try using LightSwitch Luciferase Assay System (pLightSwitch_Prom). It's around 3.5kb in size and exactly what you are looking for. I have attached the link for the same. Good Luck
