What should i consider for the quality of SV fits data analysis ?

I am a beginner in analyzing Sedimentation velocity data, i know from reading papers that the quality of SV fits depends on both the root-mean-square deviation (rmsd) and the Z-value and they should not exceed 0.005 and 0.7, respectively. And i have read recent study demonstrating that the histogram of residuals must be higher than 1 to get good fits.

In general, for quality of fitted data, randomness of data and their residuals can be checked. Data can be checked with fitted probability distribution (if it follow any), p-value, or AD value for fitness.
