For Simulation of Triboelectric nanogenerator on COMSOL mutiphysics
I am not able to simulate the TENG structure in Comsol, I have used electrostatic physics, but getting an error.
Whether, I have to write voltage equation as given in many papers?
Can anyone brief me right way of modeling TENG on COMSOL?
As best of my knowledge modeling of TENG is not directly possible. You have to provide Surface charge density and you can just simulate the voltage (electric field) distribution according to gap change between tribo-pair.
You can just use Electrostatic module to simulate TENG, by specifying the surface charge densities on both the surface (Opposite to each other) and ground one of the surface. And then compute. You can use parameter option to vary the gap between the two surfaces to know the voltage variation with the distance change.
