I expect to make a prototype at the size of 1" diameter disks. I expect to make the housings by 3D printing. The disks, by laser cutting spring steel, the rotor by machining brass or steel.
What is the best material for plating the housings, to reduce wear:
A: for pumping water?
B: for pumping crude oil?
C: for creating vacuum?

You can use red pint for coating to protect equipment (pumping water, pumping crude oil...etc) from wear or corrosion.
