Dear Paramasivan,

Biofilm systems (packed bed, MBBR/FBBR, ...) barely remove color from textile dyes as compared to advanced activated sludge (AAS) based systems.

This is one of the conclusions from our in-depth assessment of 20 large textile dyeing and finishing wastewater plants in Bangladesh on behalf of the IFC (World Bank Group). Attached you can find an extract of our summary report .
