I recommend you to plan a course on girls' education because they are very vulnerable in this pandemic era, especially those in the rural areas. Your modules could include sexual reproductive health and women empowerment. Thanks.

You may want to consider the following:
1-Best practice in online English language module design (for a specific topic/stage). So you can have language, grammar, writing, reading, as a specific focus.
2-Engendering student online interaction in English language teaching and learning (for a specific area/stage).
3-Online teaching and learning in English language (topic/ stage) in Malaysia: barriers and opportunities.
4-Embedding sustainability/ human rights education/citizenship within English language online teaching (add stage).
5-Teachers' skills and comfort in employing English language online teaching.

Well, I think different region may face different problems and interests. In my country, during this pandemic, internet connection is still a big deal, so giving the equal learning experience to all students living in different areas with varied qualities of internet connection is still a challenge. Another problem might be academic burnout resulting in academic achievement, which can be linked as well to uneven distribution of internet connection. Due to the slow/unstable connection, some teachers/lecturers often give written homework instead of an opportunity to share ideas through listening and speaking (discussion), so some skills are probably not adequately practiced, though they might still passively practice those skills, but they might also lack the active learning experience.
I think, during this crisis, an important and attractive topic to debate is evaluation of internet resources: How and where I get my inspiration from? (academic information resources), reference management and copyright.
Yes, I think that teacher education/experience is important when teaching face to face and distance courses . I have found that the article by:
