Basically, I am an entomologist working on the diversity aspects of insects. Diversity as such does not sound glossy, it just describes the king of organisms that lives in particular habitat. Having such a sort of a data, I aspire to publish in a high impact journal, I include many things like the microhabitat of the insect within the habitat.
But still, my manuscript looks so ordinary. What makes a manuscript good and publishable?
Try yo publish some small article in comparatively low IF journal. Afterwards, your experience will lead you towards preparation of article and publication of it in high IF journals.
