Hi everybody,

I have  2-D transient heat transfer problem. It is a two concentric hollow cylinders (just two layers) with initial condition and two constant boundary conditions at the innermost radius and outermost one [There is no flow in or out of the cylinders]. So, my questions are:-

1- Is it OK using the solver [FLUENT] in workbench ansys with considering zero mass flow rate or velocity to solve this problem? Or should I use only the TRANSIENT THERMAL solver.

2- What is the more accurate mesh method (automatic, tetrahedron, hexa....etc.) to mesh like this problem?

Any help will be really appreciated!
