I want to know whether it is right to start or give religious education in government schools. What is your opinion about teaching religion in Government schools?
In the United States, there is a separation of religion and government, so this would not be allowed. However, there are private, religious schools in the United States where religion is taught, but these are not government schools.
You raised a very important point. I take a European view as I am from Hungary and live in Finland. Please let me argue that understanding the basics of different religions (Christianity, Buddhism, etc.) is extremely important for every child in Europe to be able to forge new friendships with children from outside Europe. Religion is not subject creating an environment for disturbing our living sense in an negative way . With this religion irrespective caste, creed ,language , create an happy , healthy & peaceful environment for every individual follow the footsteps of religion .
It is in this line the subject of religion in government schools keep the happy atmosphere for the students for their healthy & individual development .
With this whatever may be areas it will not be a good & healthy practice for the government to create a watertight compartment .
