My Ms. thesis which was completed in September of 1983 at Stevens Institute of Technology (NJ, USA). Part of the thesis was published in 1986 by the Chemical Engineering Science Journal (vol.41, no2, pp. 1105-1108, 1986).
“In a pioneering research study, experimental data for the absorption rates of CO2, H2S and a mixture of both in hindered amine,2-amino-2-methyl-1-propanol (AMP) aqueous solutions are presented for the first time. Results are compared with the absorption rate in monoethanolamine (MEA) solutions of similar concentrations. The obtained results describe the conditions under which AMP can be a better solvent than MEA and mention the opposing factors of the absorption of CO2 by the steric hindrance effect of AMP and the concentration of the unstable carbamate”.
The method employed in the thesis has, since then, been actively pursued and applied by researchers around the globe due to the acute attention on global warming.
All my articles are great. However, I spent more time and energy on my recently published article titled: "A comparative study of artificial neural network (ANN) and adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) models in distribution system with nondeterministic inputs". See link below...
