The Numerous clinical trials studied hyperthermia in combination with radiation therapy and/or chemotherapy, Many of these studies, but not all, have shown a significant reduction in tumor size when hyperthermia is combined with other treatments . However, not all of these studies have shown increased survival in patients receiving the combined treatments .

I agree with Saleh. Hyperthermia alone has not been shown to cure cancer. It may (!) contribute to the effect of established therapies, particularly in a palliative setting. The curatice effect is at least questionable.

Yes hyperthermia can be used to kill cancer cells as the threshold temperature of normal cell is slightly greater than the cancer cells. I strongly agree with the above answers and one thing I want to add more is that Photothermal ablasion with hollow gold nanoparticles is a widely studied area where near IR radiations are used to increase the temp of gold nanoparticles so you can study that as well.

Yes I agree hyperthermia can be used to kill cancer cells as the threshold temperature of normal cell is slightly greater than the cancer cells.
